Postcard moments like those are just so valuable where public morale is concerned. Street vendors making mony selling rotten vegitables for the kiddies to throw at the gallows, and as the evening winds down, couples can enjoy a romantic evening by the funeral pyres, watching the sun set over the ashes of my enemies. Bring the kids, enjoy the pony rides, petting zoos and the festive exicutions. and the more spies they make, the more chances of "exicution festivals" for my people to enjoy in the busy streets of my cities. But I like to think that the public exicutions will be their own reward. A captive spy counts against that civ's spy count, and so they have one less spy available for spying. A spy that dies can be replaced to spy again. Civilization 6 spy free#
I prefer to commit genocide on all other civilizations, leaving all land masses free to be blanketed with my cities with my religion being not just "dominate" but the only religion on the planet. I always disable all victory conditions except Domination and I usually play on huge archipelago worlds. you get the idea.Īlso, if keep the spy prisoner, and completely wipe his civilization off the map, he should become one of my loyal minions until I tire of his antics, at which time, I would be free to feed him to my packs of ravenous trained killer war chihuahuas.

Drawn and quartered, guillitine, public hanging, firing squad, gas chamber, lethal injection, thrown into the irradiated mutant zombie pit. That enemy spy I am holding, maybe he should be executed, You could set the method based on the age you are in.
Civilization 6 spy Patch#
I have a few suggestions for the dev's to consider adding in a future patch in regards to spies. But what happens to that captured spy I am holding if I completely raze and eliminate the civilization he belongs to? Does the spy just die? Or does he defect and become a spy for me? I usually hold them until they wind up capturing one of mine, then I do "prisioner swaps" to get my spy back. Ok, I know when I am holding a spy that belongs to another civilization which I captured, I can use that spy as a "barganing chip" to trade back to the civilization.
